Private Jet to Katar
Jet off to Golf
A DP World Tour international golf tournament, the Qatar Masters. Since 1998, it has been played every year on the Doha Golf Club's grounds. Andrew Coltart, a student, won the first tournament. Australia's Adam Scott, Paul Lawrie, and Branden Grace have already won the tournament twice. The prize money for the tournament in January 2001 was listed at 750.000 US dollars. Over the period of 2008 to 2017, 2.5 million US dollars in prize money was distributed. Due to the diplomatic crisis in the Arab region, the price has increased to $1.75 million USD since 2018, and the deadline was pushed back to March. Presently, the Commercial Bank of Qatar is sponsoring the tournament. The 7374-yard-long facility was designed by Peter Harradine, an architect.
