GlobeAir to wrap up the Monaco Yacht Show 2021 with a flourish during their glamorous MYS Closing Event

The event was held in collaboration with Textron at the 5-starred Cap Estel hotel in Èze

GlobeAir has thrown an incredible closing event during the last days of the Monaco Yacht Show 2021 to celebrate its synergies with the yachting industry and a booming summer for private aviation operations – as the CEO of GlobeAir, Mr Bernhard Fragner, has stated. Together with estimated celebrities, VIPs and athletes, the GlobeAir DreamTeam has proved its substantial presence in Monaco and the French Riviera, confirming its forward-oriented marketing and partnership strategy.

On September 24th, GlobeAir and Textron co-hosted a successful event rich with networking encounters and a great time for all participants. It was encouraging to see business aviation's stakeholders gathering together right before the last day of the Monaco Yacht Show 2021 (MYS). With a selection of yachting and luxury companies showcasing, including superyacht builders, designers, brokers, and providers of luxury brands, the event seemed a great moment to celebrate the success of GlobeAir's summer operations together with VIPs personalities and long-term trustworthy partners.

"Summer 2021 has been a great success for business aviation. My GlobeAir DreamTeam had some incredible flight performances, and the great summer spike has not ended with the beginning of autumn. Compared to the past year, GlobeAir had a +33% rise in flights and a +52% new customers. Demand for autumnal flights is rising both for leisure and business travels. It is encouraging to foresee a busy October for our operations and we can see already a +23% YoY increase in bookings," says GlobeAir CEO Bernhard Fragner.

2020 meant a turning point for aviation. We have come to terms with the simple truth that just those companies who could provide the safest travel experience could make it out of the crisis.

And GlobeAir is one of those. With an average of 700 touch points on a commercial airline journey against only 20 when flying private and ensuring a 30-time reduction thereof, no wonder business aviation (BizAv) is booming thanks to the trust of its discerning passengers looking for efficient and safe travel solutions. GlobeAir's MYS 2021 closing event wants to celebrate this industry and its resilient character. The example of a triumphant marketing action capable of sending out a clear message in times of uncertainty." says Vice President of Sales for Textron Europe Tom Perry.
Three are the major drivers which validate the success of private jet charters in an almost post-pandemic era. First, GlobeAir's VP of Marketing & Sales Jonathan Berdoz reports, "GlobeAir has seen a +9.1% flight growth just considering just the month of July YoY", closing off the best summer ever since the company started to operate more than ten years ago.

Second, safety and privacy drive customers to choose private aviation the most, leading GlobeAir to decide to add a new aircraft to their fleet while making fleet change plans for the future. Finally, on top of this, there is a growing acknowledgement that private jet companies are doing their part in being more attentive to the environment. GlobeAir customers' interest in carbon offset programs has doubled since the company's introduction back in 2019. To be consistent, the company is choosing its partners strategically – let us think of Laneva boat offering e-boat transfers from Monaco to Cap Estel exclusively for GlobeAir and Textron's MYS closing event.

Private aviation is not just the one or multiple players offering private jet charters; it is an array of engaged companies interested in VIP passengers and affluent travellers in their minds. Therefore, private jet players have joined forces to strengthen their winning arguments for providing safe travel experiences. For example, Monacair – the renowned helicopter charter company in Monaco- helped MYS visitors directly join the principality after their private jet journey landed in Nice and vice versa when the show was over.

As well as this, the industry relies on the power of partnership to add value to the customer experience. GlobeAir is grateful to the Cap Estel Hotel, The Mall, Laneva boat, Sixt, Lamborghini and the long-term partner Camper & Nicholsons (C&N). All of them have contributed to raising the event's success and shed light on the synergies between luxurious brands.

Since travel restrictions eased, GlobeAir has remained at the forefront of live events, believing in the extraordinary power of face-to-face conversations and renovated joy for life outside the zoom screen. This year, GlobeAir has already joined several relevant events. Those being: the Geneva Polo Club closing season Cup, the last edition of the International motor show Germany (IAA) in Munich, the WTA Luxembourg Tennis Tournament, various European F1 and Formula E races across Europe – as Alfa Romeo Racing ORLEN's private jet partner, and of course, the MYS 2021. As the clouds seem to slowly clear up for live events and with an optimistic look into the next future, we can foresee that GlobeAir will have much more in store for the next months and years.
