Linz, 25/06/2015 – Paris-Modena is a splendid cycle escape between France and Italy that associates unique places to the fulfilment of children dreams.
Sports people and challenge lovers are invited to join the second edition of Paris-Modena, from July 4th to 9th 2015. As its name suggests, this event will take place between Paris and Modena where 30 cyclist will run together for 5 days to raise money for the Rêves association.
Created under the driving force of Maserati West Europe, this fantastic adventure will cross France and part of Italy through a route has been devised to guarantee the participants the maximum enjoyment on a bike, combining breathless views and diverse road surfaces, for a memorable 5-days experience.
The race will depart on Saturday, July 4th from the Italian Embassy in Paris towards Dijon and heading the day after to the Alps through Vonnas with a stay overnight in Menthon-Saint-Bernard.
The third day, Monday July 6th, participants will go to Tignes before facing, the following day, the famous Col of Iseran, an over 2.770 meters altitude mountain.
After this effort, the adventure will continue on the Italian side with, as a reward, a delicious dinner at the historical Pirelli headquarters in Milan, before going to Parma by shuttle for the night.
On Wednesday July 8th, last day of the race, cyclists will be awaited at the finish line in Modena. They will all do an exclusive visit of the Maserati factory plant, followed by a visit of the Panini museum (a private museum exposing an important collection of Maserati vehicles).
