As soon as you have created your profile and submitted all documents to your application, you will receive a confirmation email. A member of our Recruitment Team will review your profile within two weeks.

You can check the status of your application or make changes to your application at any time via your application profile. Simply click "Sign In" on the job page to access your profile. If you've forgotten your password, select the "Reset Password" option. You will then receive an email confirmation to set a new password.

English is our corporate language. In order to be successful in all positions at GlobeAir, you will need a very high knowledge of English.

German language is not required to be successful in any position at GlobeAir. We recommend that all employees learn basic German to feel comfortable living in Austria.

GlobeAir does not sponsor work visas for positions considered ‘’Other Key Workers’’.

Generally, we look for a strong desire to learn, a passion for aviation, a willingness to work hard, a positive team spirit, and a desire to excel.

We may follow all steps in the Recruitment Process or as many steps as required to better understand you and your motivation to join GlobeAir.

The initial interview is conducted with a member of our Recruitment Team and the Team Leader of the department for which you are applying.

The time between the interview and the follow-up call depends on the team, the recruitment process, and how many applicants we are interviewing. However, you can expect to hear from us within two weeks.

We often have many more qualified applicants than we can take on. In case you are not invited for an interview, but your profile is still interesting to us, we will place you on our hold pool for future consideration. All profiles in the hold pool will remain active for three months or until the position is filled.

If your profile does not match our criteria for the position you have applied for, you will receive a notification via email that we have decided not to proceed further with your profile.

If you pass the recruitment process and are selected for a position at GlobeAir, a member of our Recruitment Team will contact you via email with the initial offer of employment.

Once the offer of employment is accepted, you will be given a Contract of Employment outlining the terms of the employment.

Once you have signed the Contract of Employment, our HR Team will begin the onboarding process. You will be contacted by a member of our HR Team to collect all required documents and to walk you through the new employee onboarding.

Our HR Team will arrange accommodation according to your arrival date in Austria.

GlobeAir offers a permanent All-In Contract of Employment.

All employment contracts in Austria have a one-month trial period. This trial period is the opportunity for both parties to evaluate if they are the right fit.

During the trial period, both parties are able to end the employment relationship at any time.

The employment becomes permanent after the one-month trial period.

We check external market data and internal salary data, which we compare with the applicants' ideas to make a fair and competitive offer.

In Austria, it is common for an employee to receive the gross annual salary paid in 14 wages.

Your gross annual salary is divided into 12 monthly wages and 2 additional wages, one in the summer and one in the winter.

The two additional wages are taxed at a lower income tax bracket which means that the net take home is higher than with the 12 monthly wages.

These two additional wages are paid on a pro-rata basis of your full employment year. If you start your employment halfway through the year, you will only receive the pro-rata of both wages.

In-person collaboration creates amazing centres of creativity, and we want to inspire each other in the workplace. The team will discuss the home office, office and remote work regulations with you.

Our GlobeAir HQ and Maintenance Facility is located around 20 minutes’ drive outside the Linz city center.

The Maintenance Facility is located at the Blue Danube Airport and can be accessed by public transportation infrequently throughout the day. It is highly recommended not to rely on public transportation if considering a position at our Linz Maintenance Facility.

The GlobeAir HQ is located in Hörsching and is accessible by public transportation during regular working hours. Employees who work outside of normal working hours (Business Operations team members) should not rely on public transportation as a primary method to get to GlobeAir HQ. Public transportation to GlobeAir HQ is not available on public holidays, in the late evening and less frequently on the weekends.

GlobeAir is happy to take over the cost of your first five weeks of accommodation at a partner hotel of our choosing.

If you decide to leave GlobeAir before six months of employment you would be required to reimburse GlobeAir the accommodation fee. This reimbursement is deducted from the final payroll.

We encourage all of our non-German speaking team members to learn German.

If a GlobeAir employee enrols in a German course and passes the A1, A2, B1, B2 or C German language exam, then GlobeAir is happy to reimburse the cost of the course and language exam fees.

Fly in style on a GlobeAir Empty Leg (subjected to availability). A GlobeAir Empty Leg is a positioning leg that does not have a client on board.

All GlobeAir employees and their family members (employees must be present) are able to fly for free on GlobeAir Empty Legs.

The PolyGusto Cafeteria located at the GlobeAir HQ facility offers a typical Austrian menu to GlobeAir employees for a very affordable price (€2.60 without soup and €3.60 with soup).

Austria has a progressive tax system that increases from 0% up to 50% based on gross income. You can check your income tax level using the Finance Ministry gross/net tax calculator.
