Badrutt is also remembered as a sports pioneer bringing Europe's first curling tournament to St. Moritz (Kulm rink); a legendary winter sports saga had begun. With 1884 remembered as the year of the first Cresta Run and The St Moritz Tobogganing Club founded in 1887, guests have never stopped enjoying the spirit of the sporty Engadine.
